I started working at Animal House in March 2017. Years ago, my dream was to go into the sports media field. After graduating with my bachelor’s degree, I made the decision to spend my life moving across the country with my husband, while he pursued his lifelong dream of becoming an Air Force fighter pilot. I soon realized thatthat needed to find a career that I could do anywhere the Air Force sent us, and when the veterinary world found me, it was a perfect fit. I spent over three years working as a receptionist and a technician assistant in North Carolina and am thrilled to be furthering my knowledge and abilities here at Animal House.

I grew up on small family farm in eastern Pennsylvania where my love for animals (especially goats) was born. I spent the majority of my childhood years milking goats and collecting eggs. I attended college at Kutztown University and graduated in 2010 with a degree in sports management, professional writing, and public relations. Since graduation, I have lived all over the country, spending time in Colorado, Florida, and North Carolina, before finding my way here to Alaska. I love being a part of the Air Force community and getting to experience so many different places and adventures.

In my spare time, I love spending time with my husband and our golden retriever, Lyla. I am ahuge Philadelphia sports fan and watch every Phillies and Eagles game that I possibly can. Ialso enjoy reading, running, and spending as much time outdoors as possible.
